Strangled Darlings first EP (2009) ranges from chaotic and driving in the song Dandelion Wives to melancholic and bluesy in Drowning. The song writing is strong, the harmonies are divine and they pack plenty of in your face folk into a six song recording. There is also a jazzy version of what was to become the first full length album Devil in Outer Space. The band was thought to be the love child of Tom Waits and Jack White conceived in an unholy union at a Romani Dive bar.
